Sweeping Promises Milwaukee Concert reviews
Venues should be better organized for BTS concerts
"After seeing Sweeping Promises in concert at three venues, I'd rank the Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA as the best yet but also the smallest. The SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA was unorganized - no venue seems to be able to handle the scope of a Sweeping Promises concert smoothly, which was the worst yet. The Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA was the first day concert. All three concerts were first day. SoFi security / staff did not give correct information to ticket holders, like the Rose Bowl all over again. Ticket holders asked over and over which line they should be in, most were given incorrect info and ended up waiting in the wrong lines. Fortunately we were able to get to SoFi the day before and see where Floor Seating entrance was (entrance number 9). I realize this is when the "kinks" need to be figured out but the venue should have taken the Covid-19 aspect into consideration for time. It was like the Rose Bowl all over again, needing to check identification, Covid vaccination cards, Covid tests and tickets - I was asked to put my iPhone with my Ticketmaster ticket from my wallet close to the ticket reader near the metal detector. The staff kept asking me if it was a screen shot. It took three try's before the reader actually read my ticket. These things made the lines go extremely slow. Once inside it was much smoother. We had floor seats and made the trek down 7-8 levels to the floor. The concert itself was amazing. Needing to check identification, Covid vaccination cards, Covid tests and tickets - I was asked to put my iPhone with my Ticketmaster ticket from my wallet close to the ticket reader near the metal detector. The wristbands SoFi put on us showed that we were floor seat ticket holders and we had to show them. When we finally got to our seats we asked three staff members where the closest bathrooms were. Thankfully I asked one more staff and he pointed me in the right direction. Apparently my wristband was the golden ticket that got me into glass enclosed area with a real bathroom about one hundred feet from our seats. We got shrugs and I don't know from them. After two and a half years, the concert itself was amazing, being with fellow ARMYS was a beautiful thing. Seeing Sweeping Promises live again was amazing."
